For introductory level lessons, our goal is to instill a love for learning Mandarin and foster an appreciation for Chinese culture. The main focus of the program is on basic conversations and vocabulary building, covering units such as, greetings and introductions, numbers, colors, family members, food and drinks, shapes, animals, body parts, and ordering food in a restaurant setting. Additionally, traditional Chinese festivals such as the Moon Festival and Chinese New Year will also be celebrated.
